Mary's Magnificat

Our Blessed Mother proclaims in her Magnificat:

"The hungry he has filled with good things/the rich he has sent away empty." (Luke 1:53)

If we eat so often or so much that we never feel hunger, we risk missing out on the graces promised to the hungry and receiving instead the emptiness risked by the rich.
